Lost Bibles Every month, hundreds of old family Bibles are listed in Ebay auctions. It is sad that these Bibles have become separated from their families. I suppose... all it takes is for one who inherited the old family Bible to have a complete disinterest in it and it gets lost in the shuffle of an estate sale. I know these old Bibles would be very precious indeed to other family members.
It is recommended you do a search in the Ebay search box above to be sure you find all of the Family Bibles currently at auction and keep an eye on these listings weekly. The best search term I have found is family Bibles but you will have to sift through some irrelevant results. You might also try putting in some of your family surnames along with the search term. But be aware, names like Smith and Jones are going to return a LOT of irrelevant results. You never know when one of your Family Bibles will find it's way to Ebay. I would dearly love to see these lost Bibles reunited with their families!
