Frank HUFFMAN was married at Waterloo on Thursday, October 13 1892 to a young lady from Pennsylvania whose name we failed to learn. Frank is an honest industrious young man and he as the well wishes of a large circle of friends for happiness in the new relation just announced. The bride is a total stranger here but our people no doubt will give her a hearty welcome.

March 15, in York, by Rev. LILLY, Mr. Abram PLANK, of York Springs to Miss Almeda HEIGES of Franklintown, York county.

Mrs. Peter HEIGES of Franklintown, mother-in-law of Abram PLANK, of this place, retired to her bed last Sunday night a week apparently in the best of health. A short three house later she awoke from sleep to find herself totally blind, and is still in that deplorable condition.

Obituary

HINKLE -- At her home in Franklintown, York Co. Pa., February 24, 1889, Margaret, wife of John HINKLE, aged 79 years and eight days.

Mother HINKLE became a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church in early life, and also remained faithful to God to the end of her life, and when her end came she died the death of the righteous and her end was peace.

Mother HINKLE leaves an afflicted husband, one son, seven daughters and a host of friends to mourn her loss.

Deceased, during her life was a consistent member of the Christian Church, a faithful and obedient wife, a kind and affectionate mother and was respected by all who knew her.

The immediate cause of her death was heart disease of which she was afflicted for about 3 years. She was also afflicted with consumption. Funeral took place on Wednesday February 27, interment at the Franklin Church cemetery, services were conducted by Rev. LEISZE. Peace to her ashes.

Our loving mother now has gone,

A snow white robe she now has on;

Our dear mother with joyful eyes,

Is with the redeemed beyond the skies.

All is dark within our dwelling,

Lonely is our home to-day

For the one whose lips did cheer us;

Has forever passed away.

Home is sad, oh! God how dreary,

Lonesome, lonely every spot;

Listening for her voice still weary,

Weary, for we hear her not.
