Elizabeth ROGERS born July 10. 1725 at Allentown. They were joined in matrimony September 22nd 1743.

Mary BORDEN Daughter of the above Joseph & Elizabeth was born July 21st 1744.

Married Thomas McKEAN Esquire of New Castle upon the Delaware July 21st 1763. Departed this Life March 12th 1773. Left 6 Children Joseph, Robert, Elizabeth, Letitia, Mary and Nancy.

Ann BORDEN, Second Daughter was born January 24th 1745, A.D.

Departed this Life June 9th 1746.

Ann BORDEN, third Daughter was born May 9th 1747.

Married Francis HOPKINSON Esquire of the City of Philadelphia September 1 1768

Amy BORDEN, Fourth Daughter was born October 30. 1749.

Departed this Life August 31. 1751.

Letitia BORDEN, fifth Daughter was born July 29 1751.

Departed this Life June 30. 1753 N.S.

Joseph BORDEN was born June 23rd 1755.

Married Miss Mary RILES of Pennsylvania November 26 1778.

Departed this Life October 10th 1788 aged 33 years Since June 23rd. - Left one daughter, Elizabeth Louise born November 13th 1779.

Joseph BORDEN Senr departed this life the 8th of April 1791 in the 72 year of his age.

Robert McKEAN, Son of Thomas McKEAN & Mary BORDEN was born on the ninth day of March 1766 at New Castle in the State of Delaware.

Anne SMITH, Daughter of William SMITH and Mary LAMMERSEL was born on the fourth day of december on thousand Seven hundred and Seventy four in the Island of St. Eustatius.

Robert McKEAN & Anne SMITH as above were married by the Reverend Ashbel GREEN on the Seventeenth day of April One thousand Seven hundred and ninety four at Philadelphia.

Mary McKEAN Daughter of the above Robert and Anne was born on the Sunday the Eighth day of January 1797 at Philadelphia.

William L. McKEAN, Son of Robert & Anne McKEAN was born.

William L. McKEAN died.

Robert McKEAN departed this Life June 3rd Wednesday Morning 9 O'Clock, aged in the year 1802.

Anne McKEAN departed this life November 3rd 6 O'Clock Wednesday Morning in the year of 1813. aged 38 years & 8 months - left one Child Mary.

Footnotes: This old family Bible is the "American Edition of Brown's Family Bible" and seems to have been owned by Robert McKEAN who was a son of Thomas McKEAN, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
