"Somone U-all Advice"

At eight oclock pm this I do write.

I leave this bloomin board tomorrow night

These few lines here I write as my advice.

And please don't let me have to say it twice.

From C. O. even down to the relief.

A very sorry bunch just to be brief.

However not quite hopeless to be sure.

And here's a simple outline of the cure.

Please be on duty at your schedule hour.

Report all broken cords and lack of power.

And bobbing lights and hobo keys and all.

And answer very promptly every call.

Speak pleasant always as you have no right

to voice your feelings: work with all your might.

And never even by a single word

Shall you repeat a thing that you have heard.

Give service quick and cheerful at the board

Never let a subscriber get you floored.

Now let me tell you something, at

my very best

I wasn't one bit better than the rest.

Yours truly.

This was written June - oh a long time

Here is that which you mostly desire
